How To Get There

Arriving at the hostel

Cambridge station is a 6 minute walk from the Youth Hostel, where those who have booked the residential option will be staying. Come out of the station, and head towards Sainsbury’s Local on the corner. Continue away from the station down Great Northern Road, then turn right at the T junction onto Tenison Road. The Youth Hostel is on the right, just after the traffic lights.

At the hostel there is on street parking available from Monday - Saturday, 17:00 - 09:00, and all day Sunday. At all other times parking is metered with a maximum two-hour stay.

Getting to the evening dances at St Barnabas Church

From the Hostel:

St Barnabas Church is a 5 minute walk from the Youth Hostel. Go out the main entrance, turn right, then take the first right onto St Barnabas Road. The church is on the corner of St Barnabas Road and Mill Road.

From elsewhere:

There is bike parking outside the church. There is limited car parking at Gwydir Street car park, which is opposite the church and is free of charge after 6pm. There is ample car parking at Queen Anne’s car park next to Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre, which is a 10 minute walk from St Barnabas and is free of charge after 6pm.

Getting to the classes at Hills Road 6th Form

From the Hostel:

Hills Road 6th Form is a 17 minute walk from the Youth Hostel. Go out of the main entrance, turn left and walk all the way down Tenison Road, then turn right at the T junction onto Station Road. At the large junction by the war memorial, turn left onto Hills Road. The 6th Form is on the right after the railway bridge and the large junction. *Need to add directions of how to get to each hall once you're there
